PRESS RELEASE: Winners of the Student Center Open House Scavenger Hunt Bingo
WE HAVE A WINNER!
The Student Center Open House today started the fall semester with lots of giveaways and prizes. Please see Susan Coriasco in the Student Center Main Office to claim your prizes. The winners are as follows:
- Sharp 15" LCD TV: Kyle Kerrigan, Senior from East Peoria.
- Crosley CD Jukebox: Christa Schaefer, Senior from Fairview Heights.
- $25 Visa Gift Card: Rhonda Steidley, Sophomore in Plant and Soil Science from Hettick, Illinois.
- $25 Visa Gift Card: Matthew Kent, Graduate Student from Park Forest, Illinois.
- $10 Student Center Gift Card: Yoonsun Hur, Junior.
The ABS (All By Students) notebook also returned to SIUC for it's Sophomore year at the giveaway table. The four subject notebook was given away free to all SIUC students and highlights the division of Student Affairs. The cover, designed by Student Center graphics designer Nathan Bonner, has received national recognition from the company. Notebooks will continue to be available to students at various locations throughout the building.
Another sought-after giveaway was the Student Center refill cup which enables the owner to buy soda refills at Market Place and McDonald’s in the Student Center for only 25 cents plus tax throughout both fall 2008 and spring 2009 semesters. While there is a limited quantity available, cups can still be picked up at the Student Center ID Office while supplies last.
