Located next to the Big Muddy Room on the lower level, the Craft Shop and the Wood Shop have everything you need to design and create fine pieces of art. The facilities and workshops are open to SIUC students, faculty, staff and members of the community.
A complete Wood Shop is open for your use offering workshops and wood working services. A semester long pass may be obtained by completing a basic proficiency test. Fees of $15.00 for one semester or $25.00 for two semesters are required. A two-week pass is also available for $5.00.

Group Activities
Groups may plan their own workshops, activities and birthday parties. Try your hand at candle making, tie-dye, glass bead making, macramé, wax hands, silk-screening and ceramics. Call 618.453.3636 or 618.453.5209 for more information or to schedule dates.
Be a Volunteer!
The Craft Shop is looking for teens who are interested in apprenticeship work in the arts. Teens must be age 14 or older and have permission from their parent or guardian. Work apprenticeships include ceramics, jewelry, candle making and light woodwork ing.

Refund Policy
Due to the expenses involved in course planning, no refunds will be granted within one week of the workshop start date.
