Meetings and Event Scheduling

New! RSO Scheduling for Spring 2010 opened on Monday, December 7, 2009.

Campus departments and off-campus departments may call the Scheduling Office at 618.536.6633 to reserve a room in the SIUC Student Center. RSOs must visit the Scheduling Office to fill out a request slip for room reservations.

The Student Center offers maximum flexibility with 28 multi-function rooms, various seating and table arrangements, numerous staging options and complete sound and light systems. Whatever your event, the Scheduling office staff tailors the Student Center's facilities to meet your needs, while providing the utmost in professional coordination and assistance. Catering services are also available for all your meal arrangements. We take care of all the details so that you can take care of business.

Activity Rooms

These rooms have permanent setups perfect for everyday meetings.

Auditorium

With a seating capacity of 300 and with wheelchair accessible seating available, this room will accommodate larger conferences and meetings. It features a state-of-the-art surround sound system and has 16mm film and wide screen video projection capabilities. Maximum seating is 300.

Ballrooms & John W. Corker Lounge

John Corker Four spacious ballrooms of various dimensions can be used individually or joined together to meet your specifications. Parquet oak floors, theatrical lighting, a professional sound system and portable staging combine to provide exceptional flexibility in accommodating all special programs. Maximum seating is 1200.

Adjacent to the Ballrooms, the John W. Corker Lounge is a pleasant gathering area. With comfortable furniture and restroom facilities, the John W. Corker Lounge is the ideal place to hold a reception or registration.

International Lounge

The relaxed atmosphere of the International Lounge makes it a great place for an informal reception. The International Lounge is furnished with comfortable seating and is accented with a balcony view of Thompson Woods.

Renaissance Room

This large seating area is the perfect place to have a social event, dinner or wedding reception. Maximum seating is 250.

River Rooms

Scenic photographs of Illinois rivers decorate the 11 River Rooms which serve as multi-purpose meeting and dining facilities. Maximum seating is 80.
