ID Card and Debit Dawg - FAQ
Who is eligible for a campus ID card?
All currently registered students and currently employed faculty and staff.
What do I need to get a new ID card?
You must present picture identification. You must be registered for the current semester (if a student) or currently employed (if faculty or staff).
Where do I get my ID card?
At the ID Card Office located on the 2nd floor in the Student Center.
I just got my new ID card, how do I activate my Debit Dawg account?
To activate your debit account, all you have to do is deposit money, and your account will be ready to go. Your campus ID card is also your debit card.
What do I do if I lose my ID card?
Go to the Lost/Replacement page to find out the proper procedures.
How can I find out what my current Debit Dawg balance is?
Every time you use your debit account, your remaining balance is displayed at that location. You can also check your Debit Dawg balance online by using SalukiNet. Additionally, you can stop by the ID Card Office to inquire about your balance and for other questions.
My ID card doesn't seem to be working properly, what should I do?
If you are having any problems trying to use your card, you should contact the ID Card Office during regular office hours, as they can determine the problem and correct it.
If I lose my card do I also lose the money I have on it?
Not if you deactivate your card quickly. Once it is deactivated, get a new card and the money is transferred to the new account.
Is my University meal plan money the same as the Debit Dawg account?
No. Any money that comes with your meal plans can only be used to purchase food. If you wish to do laundry, printing, photocopying, use vending machines, bookstores, and any other non-food related services (as well as all food related locations), you must have a Debit Dawg account.
