Information Center - Laptops and LCD Projectors
Checkout Information
This service allows students to check out laptop computers from the Information Center, located on the first floor of the Student Center.
All computers are Dell Latitudes, Model D810, running Microsoft Windows XP. Laptops come equipped with Office XP and wireless or ethernet Internet capability. You must supply your own ethernet cable, if you intend to plug in to a wired network.
All LCD projectors are NEC Model LT35. LCD projectors cannot leave the Student Center.
Students can check out equipment for two hour periods at no cost. To set up a checkout account students must be enrolled full time during the current semester. Laptops and LCD projectors will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and reservations will not be taken. Students must keep borrowed equipment inside the Student Center for the duration of their checkout time.
Students will be considered liable for all damaged and stolen computers during the time computer is in their possession. Any charges for repairs or replacement will be placed on the student's Bursar account. Late charges may be paid at the Information Center. Non-payment will result in revocation of laptop checkout privileges. If you have any questions, please call 618.536.INFO (4636).
