ATM and Western Union Stations

ATMs are located throughout the Student Center.
First Floor: Bank of Carbondale, First Financial Bank, SIU Credit Union, Illinois National Bank
Second Floor: Old National Bank

Western Union can be used to receive funds through "will call" or have funds sent directly to SIUC for tuition and fee payments at the Check Cashing windows on the second floor. Check Cashing is not a Quick Collect Agent.

More than just a Campus Help-Desk. You'll find:

Marketing and Graphics Office

Student Center Marketing and Graphics is an award winning graphic design studio which provides promotional services for Student Center departments, Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) and students.

Whether you're looking for banners, brochures, flyers, oversized printing, postcards, t-shirt designs, newspaper ads or other printed promotional piece to grab your audience's attention, give us a call. We have competitive rates and will work within your budget on banners, brochures, flyers, t-shirt design, postcard and oversize printed promotional material. Stop by our office on the fourth floor of the Student Center, check out our portfolio and find out what we can do for you.

Our design fees are: $17.00 an hour for students and Registered Student Organizations, $21.00 an hour for departments and $25.00 an hour for off-campus clients.

Posting Information - Information Center Bulletin Board Policy

In order to better serve the students of Southern Illinois University, the Information Center asks that the students do not post their own materials on bulletin boards, but instead bring no more than six (6) flyers to the Information Center where they will be approved and posted throughout the building.

Information must be approved by the Information Supervisor for the following:

  • Pertinence (targets the majority of the student body)
  • Date (two week limit)
  • Size (approximately 8.5 in. x 11 in.)

Failure to check flyers at the Information Center will result in their removal from the bulletin boards.

Student Health Assessment Center (SHAC)

A free, walk-in service providing:

  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Cold Self Care Center
  • Interactive Computer-Based Education
  • Weight and Body Fat Assessment
  • Individual Nurse Consultation for Minor Health Problems

Study Lounges

Lower Level

  • Big Muddy Room - Natural brick walls and solid oak tables create a rustic environment where you can chat with friends, watch TV, relax or study. Ethernet connections are also available.
